Diablo Media Office
The Foundation: Community-Driven Art The branding of Diablo Media’s Denver headquarters began as a grassroots effort to define our culture. To move away from a sterile corporate environment, I led a series of team-building sessions where employees helped produce spray-painted stencil art on canvases. These pieces lined the perimeter of the office and established a “street-art” soul for the building and set the stage for more ambitious environmental graphics.
The Desk Wraps: A Cultural Time Capsule As the office grew, we added new gray desk pods that needed a creative spark. I polled the entire company to curate nearly 60 custom vector illustrations capturing our history—from our infamous St. Patrick’s Day parties to the binge-worthy HBO shows we discussed as a team.
To keep the look sophisticated, I designed the collage using a muted, two-tone gray palette with diagonal line halftones. This ensured the complex imagery remained a subtle “background” element. I collaborated with Mike at Soapoint to color-match the vinyl to our existing wall paint, resulting in a seamless, professional installation that turned the furniture into a conversation starter.

The Entryway: High-Impact Branding Years later, we finalized the space with a definitive brand mark in the lobby. To bridge the gap between the original “hand-painted” canvas art and the polished desk wraps, I opted for a custom spray-painted logomark. Using a precision adhesive stencil from Soapoint, I hand-painted the logo directly onto the wall. This brought a raw, industrial energy to the entrance that signaled our identity as a creative powerhouse the moment anyone walked through the door.
By layering these projects over time, we created a workspace that felt lived-in and intentional. The combination of grassroots team art, high-fidelity vinyl, and professional stencil work made the Diablo Media HQ a true landmark for employees and visitors alike.
