Custom Monopoly Gift

When the big question popped up—what do you gift the Diablo Media owners who have everything? We landed on a wild idea: a Custom Monopoly game, peppered with inside jokes, company milestones, and a dash of office lore. It turned out to be this awesome blend of creativity and nostalgia, transforming into a gift that was both personal and a blast from the past.

Kicking things off, we rallied the troops (a.k.a. the team) for a brainstorming bonanza, digging into the good, the quirky, and the unforgettable bits of our company culture to fill up the game board. From iconic office cross streets to must-visit conference hotspots, we left no stone unturned. Adobe Illustrator became my best friend as I crafted everything from the ground up—the board, the money, and all those tiny Monopoly icons got a fresh, Diablo Media spin. Not gonna lie, it was a marathon, not a sprint. But seeing the execs’ faces light up? Worth every second. And now, whenever someone steps into the office, this custom game sparks the coolest conversations, sharing bits of our company story in the most fun way.

I’ve got the whole shebang captured in photos—the board, the cards, you name it. It’s a project I’m super proud of, not just for the design chops it showcased, but for how it brought us all a bit closer at Diablo Media.
